Action Squad
Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Action Squad, developed by Jim_studio_A and published by ZP Games, handles information when the game is installed and played. It also explains the limited information that may be handled if a player visits this website or contacts support.
2. Information handled by the game
Local gameplay and settings data
Action Squad stores the following data locally on the user's device so the game can preserve progress and preferences:
- Selected interface language and audio volume settings;
- Tutorial completion, unlocked content, games played, enemy defeats, and best mission time;
- Current or most recent mission state, including health, ammunition, squad status, mission time, and completion status; and
- Optional gesture calibration profiles used to recognize the player's squad commands.
This local data is not uploaded to Jim_studio_A or ZP Games and is not used for advertising, analytics, or user profiling.
Optical hand tracking and head tracking
Action Squad requires Meta Quest optical hand tracking. The headset operating system uses its tracking cameras to produce derived hand-joint, hand-pose, tracking-confidence, and head-pose signals. The game receives those derived signals to render hands, interpret gameplay gestures, and present the VR view.
- Action Squad does not request Android camera permission.
- Action Squad does not access, record, store, or transmit raw camera images or video.
- Live hand and head tracking signals are processed on the device for gameplay.
- If the player completes gesture calibration, the resulting gesture profile is stored only on the device.
Information the game does not collect
Action Squad does not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, account credentials, government identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, media files, microphone recordings, payment card data, advertising identifiers, or user-generated content through the game.
3. Network communication
Action Squad does not require an Internet connection for gameplay and does not contain developer-operated online accounts, multiplayer, advertising, analytics, telemetry, cloud saves, or in-app purchases. The release application does not request Android Internet, network-state, Wi-Fi-state, billing, or Google Play license permissions.
The Meta Quest platform and store may independently process installation, purchase, entitlement, device, safety, or diagnostic information under Meta's own terms and privacy policies. Jim_studio_A and ZP Games do not receive such information through the Action Squad game application.
4. Support communications
If a player voluntarily emails support, Jim_studio_A or ZP Games receives the email address, message, and any technical details the player chooses to include. This information is used only to answer the request, investigate the reported issue, maintain necessary support records, and comply with legal obligations. Players should not send passwords, payment details, or unrelated personal information.
5. Website hosting
This website is hosted using GitHub Pages. When a visitor opens the site, GitHub may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time to deliver and secure the site. That processing is governed by the GitHub General Privacy Statement. Jim_studio_A and ZP Games do not use advertising or analytics scripts on this website.
6. How local data is used
Local information is used only to operate the game: restoring settings and language, continuing progression, displaying mission results, remembering unlocks, and recognizing the player's calibrated squad-command gestures.
7. Data sharing and sale
Jim_studio_A and ZP Games do not sell, rent, or share personal data collected by Action Squad because the game does not transmit such data to either party. The game contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Support and website-hosting information is handled only as described above.
8. Retention and deletion
Gameplay, settings, and gesture calibration data remain on the device until the user clears Action Squad's application data or uninstalls the game. Users can delete all local data handled by Action Squad through the Meta Quest application-storage controls or by uninstalling Action Squad.
Because Action Squad has no user account and does not store game data on servers operated by Jim_studio_A or ZP Games, there is no corresponding remote game-data record to delete. A player may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting the email below, subject to records that must be retained for security, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
9. Security
Action Squad limits its handling of information to data needed for local gameplay and uses application storage provided by the operating system. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure, but keeping gameplay information local reduces unnecessary exposure.
10. Children's privacy
Action Squad is intended for teens and adults aged 13 or older, or the applicable minimum age in the user's region. It is not directed to children under that age, and the game does not provide account forms through which children can submit personal information.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the game's features or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
